The American Advertising Federation of Lincoln is pleased to present the 2010 Silver Medal for outstanding contributions to the advertising profession and the community to Diane Krajicek, Director of Strategic Planning at Bailey Lauerman.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a B.S. in Journalism, Diane has achieved a successful career that spans more than 30 years in the field of advertising. A great strategic thinker, Diane has helped position Bailey Lauerman as a strategic resource and brand builder for clients. She adds value to all the work she touches. When Diane talks, people listen, resulting in her achieving significant credibility both inside and outside the agency.

An excellent researcher who knows how to interpret information and data, Diane's insights into the clients' business have improved the agency's branding process. She is a champion for the concept of archetypes and articulating a brand's essence.

Diane is all about discovery-knowing where to find information, digging into research and uncovering the facts and truths that lead to a great strategy.

Finding what is relevant and necessary, and then being able to distill that information, leads to focused brand recommendations, creative strategies and strategic briefs. Diane is a valuable resource for all creative, account service and communications planning colleagues.

One of the hardest working people at the agency, Diane's colleagues will tell you that she is the consummate team player-patient and thoughtful, always setting high standards and bringing unique insight to the table.

In addition to her significant contributions to Bailey Lauerman and previous agencies where she was employed, Diane has a history of involvement in the industry. A member of the American Advertising Federation of Lincoln for more than 30 years, she chaired the organization's Education and Program Committees. She is also a member and past President of the American Marketing ssociation's Lincoln Chapter.

Diane has served as an adjunct professor for the University of Nebraska's College of Journalism, teaching Advertising Media Strategy for five years. The work Diane has done over the years with student interns is also noteworthy. She is dedicated to providing them with a quality learning experience. Her coaching, mentoring and training has helped launch many young professional careers in our industry. Diane has a long history of community involvement as well. She currently is the immediate past Board President for Bright Lights Summer Learning.

Diane and her husband, Steve, are the proud parents of son, Eddie, and daughter, Callie.
