January. A month to recuperate from all of the holiday hubbub. A month of resolutions to make yourself better, smaller, smarter or less tardy. A month with very few social commitments and high heating costs.

This year, make it your top resolution to join your friends in the local advertising community at the 5th Annual Winterfest Ales & Auction. This event continues to grow and will be held in the very spacious Lancaster Building on the State Fair Grounds. Sample over 40 different beers and food items and place your bid on highly coveted auction items throughout the night.

Brewmasters from across the region, including Lincoln's Empyrean Ales and Omaha's Upstream Brewing Company, will sample their finest ales and tasty bites. Take your chance at making a successful bid on tons of great silent and live auction items. Once the last auction bid is in, stick around for some great live entertainment and overall merriment.

Let's make January 2006 a month to remember with ales, auctions and all around good times! Winterfest Ales & Auction efforts support this year's public service recipient, Mourning Hope and the Advertising Federation of Lincoln Scholarship Fund.
