What drove you to get into the advertising biz?
About the time I was in college the Internet was just taking off. Interactive and digital communication was and still is changing the way we communicate. It was from this revolution that drove me to start my first company and eventually co-found aijalon which I ran for 10 years.
Describe a typical day in your life...
I think I am literally connected to my Blackberry. From the moment I walk in the door to the time I go home, it's a whirlwind of excitement, opportunity, passion, challenges and in some cases, a little bit of stress.
What do you like best about what you do?
We have the ability to truly make an incredible difference in the mind of the consumer and the decisions they make about the type of products and services. We are living in an age where there is so much change and yet so much potential at the very same time.
What do you find challenging in our industry?
The pace. It's definitely not for the faint of heart.
How do you hope to make the advertising industry better?
Helping employees, vendors and clients understand the value of trusted relationships. At the end of the day, if we put these things first, this can lead to a very successful, prosperous organization.
What do you like to do in your free time?
If I am not at the office I am at the gym. Is it Husker Football season yet? My wife and I love Netflix.
