The best ideas aren't obvious. They come from a pool of thoughts and experiences, sketches and white boards, conversations and day dreams. No matter who you are or what you're working on, there's a certain amount of chaos to the creative process. The challenge is being able to organize the creative process and, in turn, create something that accomplishes the goal. "Over my career I've worked on a ton of projects that have required too much to get done in too little of time; it's important for people to find a way to organize the chaotic lifestyle we've chosen." ::About Hardy:: Jared Hardy is a Nebraska boy. Born + raised in the tiny town of Wahoo (a name that has to be howled in order to be pronounced correctly). After graduating with a degree in Advertising from The University of Nebraska he spent just over a year as sole Art Director for the agency-formerly-known-as-Dinger-Associates, which is now Thought District. Leaving the rows of corn and comforts of his mom's Taco Soup behind, Jared set out west and landed at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Boulder, CO, as an Interactive Digital Artist. Within a year he was promoted to Interactive Art Director. After a total of three years working on Microsoft, VW, Domino's, Burger King, Coke Zero, etc, he took a short trip across town to the mid-sized agency Sterling-Rice Group, where he currently works as a Senior Interactive Art Director. There he plays a key role in bringing digital to a firm known for their product innovation and big business strategy. For more information or to make your reservation, e-mail info@aaflincoln.org.
