Public Service

The most effective way of informing the public of an important social problem or need is through a complete, well-planned and well-executed marketing communications campaign.

This type of campaign, however, is often beyond the financial capabilities of most charitable organizations. The American Advertising Federation of Lincoln recognizes this and has undertaken the goal of selecting one local project for a nonprofit organization and creating for it a public service campaign. The campaign could include all creative concepts, designs, materials and media to strongly position the organization's goals and/or needs with the general public.

Our club benefactor for 2011-12 is Partnership for a Healthy Lincoln.

The public service committee will be accepting applications from nonprofit organizations beginning February 1, 2012, for the 2012-13 year.

If you have questions, please contact Christine Weeks, Public Service Committee Chair, via email at cweeks@aaflincoln.org to get all the details.
